Thank you for purchasing your Cat Grass Garden Ball! Easy to grow and fun for your cat.

1
Remove the outside wrapping. Snap the ball open.
2
Inside you’ll find a packet of organic soil and a packet of organic cat grass seeds.
3
Add 2/3 of the soil into the top cup. Water until soil is moistened.
4
Snap the ball closed. Spread seeds evenly across the soil.
5
Cover seeds with the remaining soil (no need to water the top).
6
Grass sprouts in 4–5 days. After sprouting, fill base halfway with water and trim grass when over 4".
Pro Tip

The topsoil may lift as grass grows. This is normal. Shake off any excess and keep the water level checked weekly.

10×10 Large Garden

Set up your 10"x10" garden in minutes. Use indirect light and water from the clay ball layer for best results.

1
Remove all bags from the kit.
2
Fluff the crinkle paper in the base and level it.
3
Place the fabric liner over the crinkle paper.
4
Spread about 4 cups of soil over the fabric, reserving ~1 cup for later.
5
Water the soil thoroughly.
6
Spread the seeds evenly over the wet soil to fully cover the surface (use the entire packet).
7
Gently cover the seeds with the reserved soil.
8
Starter fertilizer: Mix half the packet with 16oz of water and apply to the top of the soil.
Pro Tip

Pro tip: Grass will sprout in 4–6 days. After sprouting, mix the other half of the fertilizer packet with 16oz of water and apply. For watering: push back a little soil at a corner until you see the clay balls. Add water until it reaches soil level — no need to soak the soil directly. The soil may lift slightly due to dense seed growth — this is normal. The 4 grass types sprout at different rates but will even out within a few days. Keep grass trimmed to 3–4" for longest life. Place in indirect light (normal room light is enough). When grass turns brown, it’s time for a refill. Keep the clay balls! They are reusable for life.

5
Spread the entire seed packet evenly across the soil surface, then press seeds down gently.
